workshop will review the scientific knowledge on the physical linkages
between the control of air pollution and greenhouse gases (atmospheric
chemistry, impacts, emission control options) and examine possible synergies

and economic instruments. The objective is to identify future directions
for integrated assessment modelling under the Convention on Long-range
Transboundary Air Pollution so that synergistic effects can be systematically
explored.
