The 43rd session of GRPE is scheduled to consider
a range of items concerning the exhaust emissions and fuel consumption
of vehicles, including those using gaseous fuels. The session will
be preceded by 3 informal meetings, considering worldwide harmonization

in Tunnels will hold a fifth meeting to discuss the possible implications

Joint Meeting of Experts on the Regulations
annexed to the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage
of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterway (ADN)

The Joint Meeting is organized
jointly by the UNECE and the Central Commission for the Navigation of
the Rhine (CCNR). The Meeting will consider proposals to align the structure
of the Regulations annexed to ADN, as well as proposals of amendments

considering the application received from classification societies which
wish to be recommended for recognition under ADN.

At the request of the Working Party on Customs
Questions affecting Transport (WP.30), the secretariat has convened
a meeting of an informal Ad Hoc Expert Group, which will address
the conceptual and technical aspects of the computerization process
of the TIR Convention including the financial and administrative
implications of its introduction, both at the national and at the
international level and which will prepare a draft set of electronic
messages to allow for an interchange of electronic data, nationally,
between Contracting Parties and with international organizations.

Workshop under the Convention on Long-range
Transboundary Air Pollution on Uncertainty Treatment in Integrated
Assessment Modelling

The workshop will discuss needs and wishes of policy
makers with regard to the treatment of uncertainties. It will review
how uncertainties were addressed in past work in the context of
air pollution and climate assessments and explore practical approaches
