The online forum will discuss the results, findings, and assessments of the just concluded COP28. A special focus will be made on industry - in particular, its means and ability to act, and what should be done to reduce carbon footprint while increasing resilience, managing disruptive transitions, and preserving businesses and jobs.
Sketching the way forward, participants will be invited to share insights on the realities of industry in their regions, on aspects and needs that may have been overlooked and on measures promising to be most likely effective.
The Task Force on Energy Efficiency in Industry will also present its priority areas planned for 2024 and the opportunities for expert engagement.
