On 2 February 2023, the Special Envoy met with Mr. John W.H. Denton, Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The Special Envoy introduced road safety as both a development and an economic challenge and he encouraged engagement with the UNRSF. Lastly, the Special Envoy and the Secretary-General of the ICC discussed possible partnership and collaboration, including promotion of safe and affordable helmets around the world and support of the UN Road Safety Conventions and the right that all citizens should have around the world for safety standards of an international level.
