In 2024 and 2025, the Integrated Programme of Work (IPoW) 2022-2025 of the UNECE Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry (COFFI) and the FAO European Forestry Commission (EFC) will be reviewed as per decision by the eighty-first session of the Economic Commission for Europe Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry (COFFI) and the forty-first session of the Food and Agriculture Organization European Forestry Commission (EFC). This will lead to the draft 2026-2029 Integrated Programme of Work to be adopted by COFFI and EFC in November 2025.

This consultation on the future IPoW 2026-2029 is an informal part of the Joint Working Party on Forest Statistics, Economics to allow for a hybrid participation and will be held in English only. The event is the second step of the review process after the informal online feedback session held in April 2024 (https://unece.org/info/Forests/events/389512).

The workshop will review the zero draft of the IPoW as contained in this document: https://unece.org/sites/default/files/2024-05/ECE-TIM-EFC-WP.2-2024-7.pdf.

The workshop will include some group work and participants are strongly encouraged to attend in person. The secretariat will facilitate online group work for online participants.
