Developing
new partnerships: Multiplier Points and the World Trade
Point Federation
In the automn of 2004 the Multiplier Point Programme has
established a basis for the future close cooperation with
the World Trade Point Federation- a world- wide network
of trade facilitation centers, which serve to establish,
facilitate and maintain trade contacts across borders.
The Multiplier Point Programme and the Federation agreed
to cooperate in promoting each other’s activities
and to share contacts in order to develop their networks
further.

New Multiplier Points in CIS countries:
During
summer 2004, three new organizations in the CIS region
joined the Multiplier Point network:
(Russia) The SIORA Business network:
a network, which unites non governmental and commercial
agencies for entrepreneural activity support in the
Russian Federation.
(Kazakhstan) Business Incubator SodBi:
a non-commercial, non-governmental, self-managing organisation,
whose objective is to assist start-up and young innovative
entrepreneurs.
(Georgia) International Centre for Trade Policy
and Law: an independent organization established
in 2002 with the goal to assist Georgia in integration
process to the international economic system.
