There are no charges (fee) for attending the Executive Forum on "Competing in a Changing Europe", however, participants are requested to register themselves. Please fill the registration form and send it to: [email protected]

Security Information

Before entering the Palais des Nations, you will have to present yourself in person, with a valid identity document, to collect your badge at the United Nations Security Service situated at the "Villa les Feuillantines", 13 Avenue de la Paix, (please see map). The Security Service is open from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (Non-stop). Without this badge, it will not be possible for you to enter the United Nations premises. To avoid last minutes queues, it is safer to come earlier. "Villa Les Feuillantines" is situated at approximately 15 minutes walking distance to any Conference room. No photograph is required to obtain your badge. Please have your original registration form readily available. Please note that unfortunately, it is not possible to mail the badge.

Visa information

As a participant to the Forum, if you need an entry visa to Switzerland, please send an e-mail to [email protected] together with the Registration form indicating your date of arrival in Switzerland, date of departure from Switzerland and the contact details of the Swiss Consulate closest to your domestic address (visit: http://www.eda.admin.ch/eda/e/home.html)

Accommodation details

Participants must make their own arrangements for travel and hotels. A list of local hotels in Geneva with whom the United Nations Office in Geneva has negotiated special preferential room rates. The hotels in the neighouring France (Ferney-Voltaire) are also available. Reservations have to be made directly with the hotels. Please mention the special UN/Rates when you reserve your room.

Should you encounter difficulties, please contact the Geneva Tourist Office. Please note that any reservation you request through the Geneva Tourist Office will apply to their standard conditions and hotel prices as noted on their Hotel Reservation Form.
