• Meeting with Ambassador Zhanar Aitzhanova, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations in Geneva
On 5 July, the Special Envoy along with UNECE Secretariat met with Ambassador Aityhanova in response to an invitation that the Special Envoy received from the Minister of Development and Investment to present during a Road Safety Forum and the IV Forum of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry. The Special Envoy accepted the invitation and discussed preparations for his visit to Kazakhstan in September.

On 7 July, the Special Envoy along with UNECE Secretariat met with Ambassador Haljanov to discuss the Secretary-General’s Conference on Sustainable Transport being planned for 26-27 November in Ashgabat.
