The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity of depositary and with reference to depositary notification C.N.304.2007.TREATIES-1 of 26 March 2007, has issued following Depositary Notification:
C.N.373.2007.TREATIES-2 of 18 April 2007, informing the transmission of certified true copies of the Convention to States concerned.

Amendments to the Customs Convention on Containers, 1972

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity of depositary, has issued following Depositary Notification:
C.N.492.2007.TREATIES-1 of 20 April 2007, informing of the submission of proposals to amend Annex 1 and 4 the Customs Convention on Containers, 1972 . These amendments shall be deemed to be accepted, unless one-fifth of five of the Contracting Parties, whichever number is left, have notified the Secretary-General of the United Nations, before 20 april 2008, that they object to the proposal for amendment. A proposed amendment which is not accepted shall be of no effect whatever. If the amendments are accepted, they shall enter into force for all Contracting Parties which did not raise objections, by 20 July 2008.
