Iran accedes to the Harmonization Convention, 1982

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary, has communicated that Iran (Islamic Republic of) has acceded to the International Convention on the Harmonization of Frontier Controls of Goods, 1982 ("Harmonization Convention") on 18 May 2010. The Convention will enter into force for Iran on 18 August 2010 in accordance with its Article 17 (2). For details, refer to Depositary Notification C.N.266.2010.TREATIES-1.
