Lao People's Democratic Republic accedes to the Harmonization Convention, 1982

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary, has communicated that Lao People's Democratic Republic has acceded to the International Convention on the Harmonization of Frontier Controls of Goods, 1982 ("Harmonization Convention") on 29 September 2008. The Convention will enter into force for Lao People's Democratic Republic on 29 December 2008 in accordance with its Article 17 (2).
