The TIR Executive Board (TIRExB), a subsidiary body of the TIR Administrative Committee (AC.2), supervises and provides support in the application of the TIR procedure at the national and international levels. It is composed of 9 members, each from different Contracting Parties to the TIR Convention, who are elected for a two year term of office.
The next TIRExB election will take place at the thirty-eighth session of the TIR Administrative Committee (Geneva, 3 and 4 February 2005). The UNECE secretariat should appreciate receiving nominations of candidates that will stand for election as members of the TIRExB. Nominations should be received by the UNECE TIR secretariat no later than on 16 December 2004. For details, please refer to the informal document No. 1 (2005) (english, french and russian).
