The Secretary General of the United Nations, in his capacity as depositary, has informed that Cyprus has acceeded to the International Convention on Harmonization of Frontier Controls of Goods ("Harmonization" Convention), on 1 July 2002. The "Harmonization" Convention will enter into force for Cyprus on 1 October 2002 (Depositary Notification C.N.672.2002.TREATIES-1)
