The UN/EDIFACT directory version D.09A has now been approved and is available on the UN/EDIFACT website.
ATTENTION: This new release has introduced a message that required a modification to the “UN/CEFACT RULES FOR PRESENTATION OF STANDARDIZED MESSAGE AND DIRECTORIES DOCUMENTATION”, R1023, to enable its publication. The modification concerns the size of the number of characters needed for section 4.3.1, the segment table. This has now been increased from its initial size of 70 characters to 75 characters. The change may cause problems with programs that extract the information from the message directory (EDMD). R1023 can be downloaded from the following link R.1023/rev.11. This document has also been incorporated in the library download package for this release.
