The second working group meeting took place on 14 October 2014 in Astana in order to prepare for the 3rd NPD Steering Committee meeting due in Spring 2015. Experts presented preliminary results of two ongoing activities under the National Policy Dialogue in Kazakhstan: preparation for the process of ratification of the Protocol on Water and Health and development of economic models for water supply and sanitation in rural areas of Kazakhstan. The NPD workplan for 2014–2015 was also discussed and updated.
