Due to the ongoing uncertainty when and how any normal activity (in whatever form) may be resumed at the Palais des Nations, in Switzerland or elsewhere and under which conditions people may start traveling again, the ECE secretariat, in close consultation with the Chair, has decided to postpone the 155th session of the Working Party on Customs Questions affecting Transport (WP.30). The meeting which was scheduled to take place from 9-12 June 2020 will now be convened from 13-16 October 2020, in conjunction with the seventy-third session of the Administrative Committee for the TIR Convention (AC.2). In due course, the secretariat will issue an updated (and, possibly, amended) draft agenda for the session.
With regard to special event on eTIR related matters, dedicated to the first session of the Group of Experts on Conceptual and Technical Aspects of Computerization of the TIR Procedure (WP.30/GE.1), the secretariat is looking into possibilities in early autumn 2020.
The secretariat regrets having been compelled to take this decision, but trusts that it meets with your understanding and support.
