She is a specialist in urban and social innovation and for the past 8 years she has provided advisory services to local governments on problem-solving, needs’ identification and public procurement. She also has experience in urban resilience, climate change policy, social development and urban poverty alleviation.
She has worked for the Social Development Ministry of the Mexican Government on a program to tackle urban poverty; for the World Bank’s Sustainable Development Department on projects to strengthen social resilience to climate change in Latin America and the Caribbean; and for Citymart, managing projects on challenge-based procurement and open innovation competitions working with several cities in countries such as the U.K, U.S., Chile, and Spain.
