Professor Igor Yegorov is a specialist in S&T and innovation policy from Ukraine. He is the Head of Department of Innovation Policy, Economics and Organization of High Technologies in the Institute of Economy and Forecasting of the NASU. In 1990s and 2000s, he was a visiting fellow in the Science Policy Research Unit, the University of Sussex, UK, a Fulbright Scholar in George Washington University, a visiting scholar in Kennan Institute, (both - USA) and he worked as an expert for different international organizations, including the EU, UNESCO Institute of Statistics (Montreal, Canada) and some others on R&D and innovation. Main interest of his research is focused on R&D and innovation policy, especially in the Eastern European and post-Soviet states; innovation economics, co-operation between developing and developed countries in science and technology. His publications in English include articles in such journals, as Science and Public Policy, Research Policy, Minerva, Europe-Asia Studies, International Journal of Technology Transfer and some others.
