On 12 March, the Special Envoy met with the Mayor of Mexico City, Mr. Miquel Àngel Mancera Espinosa, to discuss and support road safety efforts in the capital. They also discussed the Vision Zero, road safety strategy for the city, which Mr. Mancera is implementing with the goal to reduce the number of road fatalities in Mexico City by 35 percent.
