Introduction

The Working Party on Road Transport (SC.1) promotes the development and facilitation of international transport by road—of goods and passengers—by harmonizing and simplifying the rules and requirements at transport. To meet this objective, SC.1 draws up, manages and updates international legal instruments. Highlights

Lebanon is now eligible to accede to the European Agreement Concerning the Work of Crews of  Vehicles Engaged in International Road Transport (AETR) (see Depositary Notification C.N.561.2018.TREATIES-XI.B.21).

Turkey acceded to the Additional Protocol to the CMR concerning the electronic consignment note (e-CMR), 2008 (map of contracting parties).

Croatia acceded the Protocol to the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) (map of contracting parties).

Estonia acceded to the Additional Protocol to the CMR concerning the electronic consignment note (e-CMR) (map of contracting parties).

The Russian Federation acceded to the Protocol to the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) (Depositary Notification).

A proposal of amendment to article 14 of the European Agreement concerning the Work of Crews of Vehicles Engaged in International Road Transport (AETR) has been issued (Depositary Notification).
