Austria

Austria notified the Secretariat that by ordinances based on the Road Traffic Act (Straßenverkehrsordnung StVO) restrictions (German version) are imposed for the carriage of dangerous goods on certain tunnel routes.

 

Belgium

Belgium notified restrictions concerning the transport of dangerous goods by road and 3 signals to be placed at the entrance of tunnels and restricted areas (French only).

Finland

Ministry of transport and communications of Finland can, by a proposal made by a municipality, restrict the carriage operations of dangerous goods in certain areas, on special roads or on parts of roads in Finland. The restrictions are marked by traffic signs.

Finland notified transport restrictions in accordance with 1.9.4 (English only).

France

France notified restrictions relating to the road vehicles carrying dangerous goods corresponding to 1.9.3 (a) and (d) of ADR (French only) .

France notified restrictions relating to the road tunnel of Fréjus, beetween France and Italy. See the following regulations (French only):

Germany
Germany informed the Secretariat that has no additional national restrictions according to section 1.9.3 a) and/or d) concerning the transport of dangerous goods only. There are merely some road sections existing which are limited partly or totally to certain traffic by general road signs posted locally.

 

 

Latvia
Latvia notified the Secretariat that there are no additional provisions within the scope of 1.9.3 (a) or (d) of ADR in the territory of Latvia.

 

 

 

Luxemburg
Luxemburg notified restrictions concerning vehicles engaged in the international carriage of dangerous goods by road (French only).

 

 

Moldova

Moldova notified the Secretariat that there are no additional provisions within the scope of 1.9.3 (a) or (d) of ADR in the territory of Moldova.

 
Netherlands
The Netherlands notified Regulation amending the Regulation on the transport of hazardous substances by land, in connection with the implementation of the biennial revision of the European Agreement on the international transport of dangerous goods by road (ADR) and the implementation of Directive no. 2003/28/EC (English only).

 

Norway
Norway submitted a notification in accordance with Paragraph 1.9.4 of ADR (English only).

 

 

Portugal
Portugal notified restrictions on movement of dangerous goods traffic in accordance with Paragraph 1.9.4 of ADR (French only).

 

 

RomaniaRomania
Romania notified restrictions on movement of dangerous goods traffic in accordance with Paragraph 1.9.4 of ADR . See also addendum 1 and addendum 2 (English only).

 

 

Slovakia
Slovakia notified restrictions concerning vehicles engaged in the international carriage of dangerous goods by road (English only).

 

 

Slovenia
Slovenia notified additional restrictions on the carriage of dangerous goods by road (English only).

Spain notified restrictions concerning vehicles engaged in the international carriage of dangerous goods by road applicable on the territory of Spain during 2005 and general restrictions as in Annexes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and with a map, (English or Spanish only).

Switzerland
Switzerland submitted a notification concerning the additional restrictions to national and international Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road (French, German and Italian).

 

 

The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia notified the Secretariat that there are no restrictions concerning the transport of dangerous goods by road using structures such as bridges or tunnels. Concerning transport of dangerous goods of Class 1, the movement is allowed only in working days of the week and only in day-time.
