under paragraph 1.5.1 of ADR concerning the

carriage of UN 0335, 0336 fireworks

By derogation from the provisions of ADR, Annex B, UN 0335 and 0336 fireworks may also be transported in the quantities shown below without fulfilling the requirements of paragraphs 8.1.2.2 (a), 9.1.2, 9.2.2.4 and 9.3.7.3. With effect from 1 January 2005 they may be transported in the quantities shown below without fulfilling the requirements of 8.1.2.2 (a), 9.1.2, 9.2.2.4 and 9.3.7.3 (second subparagraph).

Loads of UN 0335, or mixed loads of UN 0335 and UN 0336, shall not exceed 2,500Kg.

Loads of UN 0336, shall not exceed 7,500Kg.

All other relevant requirements of ADR shall be complied with.

The consignor shall enter the following in the transport document: "Carriage agreed under the terms of ADR paragraph 1.5.1 (M162)". A copy of this Agreement shall be carried on board the transport unit.

This Agreement shall be valid until 12 September 2009 for the carriage on the territories of those ADR Contracting Parties signatory to this Agreement. If it is revoked before then by one of the signatories, it shall remain valid until the above mentioned date only on the territories of those Contracting Parties signatory to this Agreement which have not revoked it.

This Agreement does not apply to carriage through the Channel Tunnel.
