under ADR 1.5.1 concerning the training of drivers

1)      By derogation from the provisions of 8.2.1 of ADR, initial training courses, refresher courses, practical exercises and examination may be limited to the transport of substances with UN N°s 1202, 1203,1223, 1268 or 1863 in packages and tanks.

2)      The certificate of driver’s training shall mention “certificate valid for transport of UN 1202, 1203, 1223, 1268 and 1863 in packages and tanks in application of multilateral agreement M 151.

3)      This agreement shall apply to transport between the ADR Contracting Parties signatory to this agreement until 01.01.2009 or until a corresponding amendment to ADR comes into force, whichever is the sooner. If it is revoked before by one of the signatories, it shall remain valid until the above mentioned date only for carriage on the territories of the ADR Contracting parties signatory to this agreement which have not revoked it.
