New Contracting Parties to the Harmonization Convention, 1982 and the Customs Convention on Containers, 1972

The Secretary General of the United Nations, in his capacity as depositary, has informed the UNECE secretariat that:

Kazakhstan has acceded to the International Convention on the Harmonization of Frontier Controls of Goods, 1982 on 25 January 2005. The Convention will enter into force for Kazakhstan on 25 April 2005. For details, refer to Depositary Notification C.N.38.2005.TREATIES-1 (English, French).

Kazakhstan has acceded to the Customs Convention on Containers, 1972 on 25 January 2005. The Convention will enter into force for Kazakhstan on 25 July 2005. For details, refer to Depositary Notification C.N.39.2005.TREATIES-2 (English, French).

Azerbaijan has acceded to the Customs Convention on Containers, 1972 on 17 January 2005. The Convention will enter into force for Azerbaijan on 17 July 2005. For details, refer to Depositary Notification C.N.32.2005.TREATIES-1 (English, French).

The World Customs Organization acts as the secretariat for the Customs Convention on Containers, 1972.
