The Panel Session was organized to discuss how the General Market Surveillance Procedure (GMSP) - developed under the umbrella of the MARS group - could be used to meet the challenges coming from an increasing number of products on the market and the trend towards a reduced involvement of authorities in the pre-market phase. Participants also presented and discussed several examples of ongoing cooperation at the regional and international level.
