Workshop on Trade Facilitation will take place on
22-23 November, in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
of the Russian Federation, under the auspices of the
United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE),
the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the
Federal Customs Service and the Chamber of Commerce
and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The objectives of the workshop are to:
- review the situation with market reforms and needs for trade facilitation in the Russian Federation;
- establish organizational basis for trade facilitation implementation through public-private partnership;
- definition of concrete projects for realization, for example, the creation of "Single Window" for submission of trade information or aligning trade and transport documents and electronic data exchange with international standards.
