ECE/FAO secretariat in Geneva works closely with FAO in Rome in implementing
the joint programme of work of the ECE Timber Committee and the FAO European
Forestry Commission. It contributes to FAO global programmes such as the
Global Forest Resource Assessment and the collection of forest products
statistics.
