Subsequent to discussion at the joint bureaux meeting in Geneva on 23 March 2007, the consultations among the EFC Chair, the MCPFE GCC and the EC held on 29 March 2007 in Poznan, Poland, as well as at the EU Forest Directors’ meeting in Kloster Eberbach, Germany, 26-28 March 2007, and informal discussions, it has been agreed that the joint bureaux should meet jointly with the GCC in order to further discuss the modalities of inter-organisation cooperation in the forest sector, and notably:
- Objectives, scope and modalities of the proposed Pan European Forestry Week 2008
- Other aspects of UNECE/FAO/MCPFE cooperation
