Introduction
The
Timber Committee and the European Forestry Commission
address a wide range of issues, providing objective
analysis and a forum for discussion and exchange of
information on policy issues. This work area
comprises activities in the field of forest policies
and institutions, including monitoring of developments,
analysis and capacity building activities. It also
includes broader cross-sectoral work, for example
on forests and energy, and work on forest fires.
