UNECE is currently preparing a strategic review of the TIR system. To provide better services in the future, we would like to develop clearer ideas on future developments of the various existing transit systems, based on a wide range of stakeholders' perspectives, including shippers, logistics and transport operators, Customs administrations, transport authorities and relevant non-governmental organizations. This questionnaire is an instrument in that direction. It includes five sets of questions. Your reply by 15 September 2009 will be appreciated.
