The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary, has issued the following Depositary Notification:
C.N.497.2007.TREATIES-1 of 23 April 2007, informing that on 20 April 2007 the United Arab Emirates have deposited their instruments of accession to the TIR Convention, 1975. In accordance with its Article 53, paragraph 2, the Convention will enter into force for the United Arab Emirates on 20 October 2007.
