On Friday 19 November 2010, the President of IRU and the Executive Secretary of the UNECE have signed the UNECE-IRU agreement for the years 2011-2013, as adopted by the TIR Administrative Committee (AC.2) at its fiftieth session (30 September 2010). The signed agreement confirms the authorization to take on responsibility for the effective organization and functioning of an international guarantee system and to centrally print and distribute TIR Carnets which has been granted by AC.2 to the International Road Transport Union (IRU) for the period 2011-2013.
