Succession of Montenegro to UNECE Conventions in the field of Border Crossing Facilitation

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary, has informed that, on 23 October 2006, Montenegro has effected its succession to a number of international Conventions and agreements administered by the United Nations.
In the field of Border Crossing Facilitation, Montenegro has succeeded to the following Conventions and Agreements, with effect from 3 June 2006:
- TIR Convention, 1975 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1232.2006.TREATIES-1);
- International Convention on the Harmonization of Frontier Controls of Goods, 1982 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1233.2006.TREATIES-3);
- Customs Convention on the Temporary Importation of Private Road Vehicles, 1954 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1225.2006.TREATIES-1);
- Customs Convention on the Temporary Importation of Commercial Vehicles, 1956 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1227.2006.TREATIES-1);
- Customs Convention on Containers, 1956 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1226.2006.TREATIES-1);
- Customs Convention on Containers, 1972 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1230.2006.TREATIES-2);
- Convention concerning Customs Facilities for Touring, 1954 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1223.2006.TREATIES-1);
- Protocol to the Convention concerning Customs Facilities for Touring, 1954 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1224.2006.TREATIES-1);
- European Convention on Customs Treatment of Pallets used in International Transport, 1960 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1229.2006.TREATIES-1);
- Customs Convention on the Temporary Importation for Private use of Aircraft and Pleasure Boats, 1956 (Depositary Notification C.N. 1228.2006.TREATIES-1);
