Tuesday, December 08/1998 EXCURSION TO GODOLLO

half day guided visit of the baroque palace which was the favourite resort place of Francis Joseph and Queen Elisabeth in the period between 1867 and 1916. In the newly reconstructed central part of the building you can visit the ballroom, salons of the royal family and a commemorational exhibition of Queen.Elisabeth. Guided visit to the palace /45 min,/ + welcome cocktail - sweets, coffee or refreshments in the café shop of the palace.
On request we can offer a small home concert in one of the halls for max 50 pers.

Wednesday, December 09/1998 COOKING COURSE

Half day program.
In the morning the ladies will go to the big, old style food Market Hall accompanied by our guide and visit the place where the ingredients for the lunch are generally purchased. Transfer to Hotel Budapest, where with the help of the chef at the "Glass Hall" the guests will prepare a Hungarian menu. Finally they can look at the way how buffet table are prepared by experts and they will consume the lunch.

Thursday, December 10/1998 POST CONGRESS TOUR
09.00 - 18.00 hours
Whole day excursion to the Danube Bend. Visit of the Basilica in the oldest Hungarian royal and ecclesiastical residence, Esztergom. Lunch in the Renaissance Restaurant in Visegrad, where guest can enjoy foods based on medieval receipts. During the lunch music of the age and Renaissance dances will entertain the participants. (duration of the lunch incl. program aprox. 2 hours) Visit to the royal castle ruins and have a look at the beautiful panorama of the Danube bend. Continue of the tour to Szentendre. Visit of the picturesque town of artists and stroll on the narrow streets full of different shops and art galleries. Entering the Ceramics Museum "Kovacs Margit".
Return to Budapest in the late afternoon.
