The UNECE Statistical Division promotes implementation of the new CES Recommendations for the 2010 Round of Population and Housing Censuses and supports member countries in preparation for their next population and housing census.

 

Activities include:

• Engaging countries in the UNECE region in expert group meetings on emerging issues in census methodology
• Support SPECA countries in adopting a common methodology in census taking
