We promote the implementation of the CES Recommendations for the 2010 Round of Population and Housing Censuses and support member countries in the preparation for their next population and housing census.
Our activities include:
- seminars and training workshops at regional and sub-regional levels
- engaging countries in the UNECE region in expert group meetings on emerging issues in census methodology and management
- developing publications and training material on censuses
