Management of statistical information systems (MSIS)
Together with Eurostat and OECD, we coordinate regional work on the management of statistical information systems (MSIS). Our aim is to:
- provide a forum for exchange of experiences
- collect, discuss and
make available examples of good practice
- facilitate implementation of relevant standards and recommendations across the UNECE region
MSIS meetings are usually held each year to consider issues related to information technology (IT) governance and management, system architecture, accessibility and usability. A system for sharing open-source technical solutions between statistical organizations is currently being developed.
