The sixth meeting of the Working Group on Integrated Water Resources Management took place on 4-5 May 2011 in Geneva, starting at 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 4 May 2011, and closing at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday 5 May 2011. The meeting was held back-to-back with the twelfth meeting of the Working Group on Monitoring and Assessment, which took place on 2-4 May 2011 in Geneva. A joint session of the two working groups was held on Wednesday, 4 May 2011 from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The main objective of the sixth meeting of the Working Group on Integrated Water Resources Management was to review the implementation of the workplan (ECE/MP.WAT/29/Add. 1) as adopted at the fifth session of the Meeting of the Parties.
