A first version of the GGP Contextual Database including data from
Bulgaria, Russia, Hungary, Romania and Canada is now available at the "online
databases section" of the MPI website.
The CDB is currently fast growing both concerning completeness of data
collections within countries and the number of countries covered.
Many data are still subject of further completion, revision and standardization, but the
confidence is high that the database is of use for the cientific community
already in its present state and time has come to go online!

The basic description of the Standard data file has been prepared.
In its current form the document holds the original numbering of questions from the Full (Core
and Optional submodules) Wave 1 questionnaire, labels of the variables, labels of the values
and the new harmonized variable name.
