This by invitation-only event is organized by the UNECE’s Group of Experts on Gas in collaboration with Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) and Marcogaz.

The participants will review and discuss  draft document: “Best Practice Guidelines for Methane Management in the Oil and Gas Sector”, developed by the Group of Experts on Gas and funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (please download a document - doc - and visit a page dedicated to its review process).

The workshop will also discuss the recent report, initiated in October 2018, on how the gas industry could contribute to the reduction of methane emissions. The report will be ready for the next European Gas Regulatory Forum (or Madrid Forum) in June 2019.
