European Union Water Initiative (EUWI) Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia 18th Working Group meeting

24 June 2014
Geneva Switzerland

The 18th meeting of the Working Group brought together senior officials representing water and environmental authorities from countries of Western and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, as well as international organizations, multilateral and bilateral donors. The meeting reviewed the implementation of National Policy Dialogues on integrated water resources management and on water supply and sanitation in EECCA countries. The discussion was built around three main components: transboundary cooperation; managing water for green growth; and water-climate-food-energy nexus. The 18th meeting of the Working Group was held back-to-back with the Ninth meeting of the Working Group on Integrated Water Resources Management (25 and 26 June 2014 in Geneva).
