Harikrishnan Tulsidas works as a Nuclear Technology Specialist in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Vienna. He is the Scientific Secretary for IAEA’s Integrated Nuclear Fuel Cycle Information System and supports the work of the Uranium Production Cycle. Before joining IAEA in 2009, he had been associated with uranium production and nuclear fuel-cycle activities in India for over twenty years.
At the IAEA, he provides technical support to technical cooperation programmes in the uranium production cycle in various countries. He is the technical lead for regional projects supporting uranium exploration and mining in Africa and leads the interregional project on uranium resource assessment, which connects 40 countries.
Hari is involved in developing the United Nations Framework Classification for Fossil Energy and Mineral Reserves and Resources (UNFC) as one of the Vice Chairs of the UNECE Expert Group on Resources Classification (EGRC) and the Chair of the EGRC Task Force for Nuclear Fuel Resources. He is also a member of the newly constituted Technical Advisory Group for UNFC.
