Review paper by Germany
The Bureau reviewed time-use surveys in November 2010, and noted the increasing demand for time-use surveys as a follow-up to the Stiglitz Commission report and the importance of these surveys to measure the quality of life, well-being, non-market work, gender equality, etc. Insufficient harmonisation reduces the value of this complicated survey.
Outcome of the review
The Centre for Time Use Research maintains an information gateway to research and measurement of time use.
