Housing and Land Management - Home

There are shared housing and land management challenges in all UNECE member countries such as old, non-ecologically sustainable buildings, a lack of access to housing, and changes in property rights.

The Committee on Housing and Land Management facilitates a dialogue between governments for sharing innovative practice, giving advice and developing policy guidelines to address common housing and land management problems.




Exhibition on energy efficiency in buildings "Greener and smarter homes" at the Palais des Nations. It will run from 15 September - 10 October 2014. More details here.

The report of the workshop "Future of social housing: environmental and social challenges and the way forward" is now available.


 We are inviting expressions of interest from member States, the private sector, and non-governmental and international organizations to provide expert support for the activities of our Committee. More details on these activities can be found in the questionnaire.
