The SPECA Project Working Group on Gender and Economy was established following the decision of the Governing Council of SPECA taken at its First Session (Baku, 27 June 2006). It works to raise awareness on the interdependency between gender and economy through sharing good practices in mainstreaming gender in economic policies, policy-oriented research and projects as well as developing cross-sectional linkages and synergies with other relevant areas of SPECA activities.
