The Gender and Economy Programme aims to enhance understanding of the economic aspects of gender relations. Activities include policy-oriented research, dialogue and capacity-building seminars to strengthen policies aimed at reducing gender inequalities and to enhance women's economic potential in South-East Europe, Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia. A key area of focus has been the development of women's entrepreneurship in the region.
