A Ministerial Meeting of the ITC took place in the morning of 26 February 2013, at the Palais des Nations. The Meeting was dedicated to two important topics: Euro-Asian Transport Links (EATL) and Unified Railway Law.


Ministers were asked to approve the results of Phase II of the EATL Project and sign a joint declaration pledging priority developments on the identified routers and projects as well as to provide further support for the continuation of the EATL Project under Phase III.


Ministers also reviewed the progress made in the development towards unified railway law and were asked to sign a joint declaration on further activities in this field and, in particular, on the promotion of Euro-Asian rail transport.
