Contact Point for the European Forest Week: Eve Charles
The next joint session of the UNECE Timber Committee and the FAO European Forestry Commission will take place on 9-13 December 2013 in Rovaniemi, Finland. The event is called Metsä2013, "metsä" means forest in Finnish.
Mestä2013 will also include several side meetings of interested organisations covering forest and forest products related issues. To book a room for your event please contact Eve Charles.
A second European Forest Week will be organized during Metsä2013. The week will focus on the contribution of forests and forest products to a green economy. It will provide a unique communication and outreach opportunity to raise the visibility of the forest sector and the multiple services wood contributes to our daily lives. The week will bring together a variety of stakeholders from forest and non-forest sectors.
