Main page of the First Meeting of the Parties
The third meeting of the Preparatory Working Group took place on 8-10 July 2002 in Pula, Croatia. The Working Group finalized the preparations for the first meeting of the Parties, which took place in the Italian town of Lucca on 21-23 October 2002.

The second meeting of the Preparatory Working Group took place on 21-24 May 2002 in Geneva. An open-ended meeting of the Bureau was held on 28 February-1 March 2002 to prepare for this meeting.
