Infosylva keep readers informed of the latest news, research articles, publications, upcoming meetings and other events, as well as job postings, on forests and forestry related issues. It is issued by the FAO Forestry Department.
Infosylva was first launched in 2005. It is sent twice a month to more than 30,000 stakeholders in the forestry sector worldwide. It is in English, Spanish and French. Each in the press review section includes a concise summary of the article.
Although FAO manages the list, the designations employed and the presentation of material in the Infosylva website do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of FAO concerning the legal or development status of any country, territory, city or area or of its authorities, or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers or boundaries.
